About the Role

As an Agency Experience Manager, you will be a key advocate and support resource for our agents, ensuring they receive exceptional service and assistance. Your experience in insurance customer service will be vital in maintaining strong relationships and enhancing operational efficiency. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role requiring problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a passion for service excellence.

🌍 This is a remote position, with preference for candidates available during Pacific Time Zone business hours. Occasional travel may be required for company meetings and industry events.

In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, sales, and technology teams to enhance the agent experience. As a startup, we embrace an all-hands-on-deck mindset, so you’ll have opportunities to contribute beyond your core responsibilities.

What you'll do
  • Manage Agent Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for agents, handling inquiries and ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Enhance Service Efficiencies: Work across departments to improve customer service processes and drive operational improvements.
  • Support Underwriting Decisions: Communicate underwriting guidelines and decisions in a way that builds trust and drives repeat business.
  • Deliver Proactive Support: Assist agents through online chat, calls, and email, resolving service-related issues promptly.
  • Process Transactions Efficiently: Handle billing transactions, policy changes, and other service-related tasks with accuracy.
  • Capture & Elevate Feedback: Gather agent insights and provide actionable feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage Marketing & Resources: Educate and engage agents with marketing materials to increase activity and retention.
  • Contribute to Business Growth: Help develop and refine processes, workflows, and strategies to support our rapid expansion.
  • Show Your Versatility: Support sales, underwriting, and product teams as needed, adapting to evolving business needs.
What You Need to Succeed
  • 3+ years of property & casualty (P&C) insurance experience, specifically supporting agents.
  • Experience in high-volume customer service with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • A service-first, proactive mindset—you thrive in a fast-paced environment and react quickly to agent needs.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in a tech-driven environment, adapting to new tools and processes quickly.
