We’re growing, and looking for an Agency Sales Manager to help our top-producing agencies maximize their potential.
The Role
Reporting directly to the EVP of Sales, the Agency Sales Manager, is responsible for deepening relationships with our most engaged agency partners. Your focus will be on helping them grow their book of business with Rainbow by driving pipeline activity, supporting underwriting escalations, and ensuring they fully understand and leverage our appetite, pricing, and value proposition. You’ll act as a true partner—coaching, strategizing, and removing roadblocks so they can write more profitable business with us.
What You’ll Do
- Build & Execute Growth Strategies: Work closely with our top agencies to develop custom growth plans, set production goals, and track progress.
- Drive Submissions & Production: Ensure agencies are consistently submitting risks that align with our appetite, and help move deals across the finish line.
- Support Underwriting & Operations: Act as a bridge between agencies and our underwriting team, advocating for your partners and resolving escalations.
- Deliver Training & Insights: Educate agencies on our unique underwriting approach, competitive advantages, and sales strategies that help them win more deals.
- Monitor & Improve Performance: Analyze agency performance data to identify opportunities for growth and intervene when momentum stalls.
- Champion the Rainbow Brand: Ensure our agency partners fully understand and communicate Rainbow’s value proposition in the marketplace.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance account management, carrier distribution, or commercial insurance production.
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships with independent agents and drive revenue growth.
- A data-driven approach to sales—comfortable tracking metrics and using insights to refine strategies.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance - food service and hospitality market experience is a plus.
- A natural coach and collaborator who enjoys helping others succeed.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where adaptability is key.
