Company Overview:

Join our rapidly growing insurtech program administrator, where we leverage cutting-edge technology to redefine the insurance landscape. After a very strong year of sales, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead and scale our sales efforts, building a systematic, data-driven sales process onto our already strong foundation.

Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

  • Manage and oversee all sales activities targeting insurance agents.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team, including managing an existing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Business Development Managers (BDMs).
  • Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback to the sales team.

Sales Process Development:

  • Transition the company to a structured, systematic sales process utilizing the positive momentum built by the founding team.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of sales processes, ensuring consistency and scalability.
  • Implement best practices for lead generation, qualification, and conversion.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Utilize data and analytics to drive sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Track key sales metrics and generate reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular analysis of sales data to inform strategic planning and execution.

Outreach and Relationship Building:

  • Oversee the SDR team's outreach efforts to generate and nurture leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key insurance agents and partners.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our offerings and expand our network.Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product, and customer success, to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on sales performance and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the insurance or insurtech industry.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and methodologies, with the ability to create and implement structured sales systems.
  • Exceptional ability to use data and analytics to drive sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
