About the Role


‍We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven business development professional to join our passionate team. You will interact with insurance agents every day and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and account management, with a deep understanding of the insurance sector. You will play a key role in acquiring new clients, contributing directly to the company's growth and success.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify, attract, and engage new clients, while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.
  • Understand and articulate the value proposition of our insurtech solutions, demonstrating how our services can meet the unique needs of each prospect.
  • Negotiate and close deals, achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets.
  • Work with sales development representatives on lead generation prospect escalations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive and consistent customer experience.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes, leveraging insights to inform sales strategies and product development.

What You Need

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a preference for candidates with a background in insurance or fintech.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience and comfort working in a very fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade at all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Hubspot, Slack and Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.).
  • A team player with a positive attitude, high energy, and a commitment to achieving the company's mission.
